Who I am
My name is Larry Beall and I live in Columbus, Ohio along with my beautiful wife and son.
What I do
I am currently working as a Senior Developer for Information Control Corporation (ICC). I tend to specialize in web technologies, but can develop in any of the .NET disciplines.
Why I do it
If you ask my architect he will tell you I work in web technologies because I am a “sick sick puppy”. I prefer to think that I do it because I like the challenge. I find that there is nothing like being able to build something that could be instantly viewed by millions with out the need for any download or installation. I love the work I do and would not trade it for anything.
I also enjoy making contributions to Open Source projects as time allows. I have made small contributions to previous versions of Subsonic and various other small projects. I also try to be active in various Q&A communities such as StackOverflow
What I do for fun
Above everything else I love to stay home and enjoy my time with my wife and son, if there was one thing I could do besides work in the web world it would be a stay at home father and soak up every moment that I can with my son as he grows.
When we are not spending time at home we tend to enjoy playing or watching sporting events. I love to partake in golf on the weekends, even though I tend to be on the horrible side. I also thoroughly enjoy watching soccer matches both on TV and in person.
